Today I went in my cupboard to pull out the stuff to make some flax seed crackers (my sister Nicola is gagging to try some)… only to discover I had no flax only linseed… AAARRRGHH! What a muppet! Oh well, a trip to the health food shop tomorrow then.
To soothe my troubled brow I scoffed some raw chocolate called, ironically, Lucky Me by Raw Living which was deeee lish oussss. And strangely enough, I wasn’t very hungry after that! Oh bum, what am I going to show for my challenge today? Granola requires nuts and seeds soaking for 10 – 12 hours and errmmm I wasn’t that organised (they’re soaking overnight now, for tomorrow).
Hmmm, I thought, keep it simple stooopid, and decided to chop up some veggies and make a yummy dip to show you. So here you are…
Yum Sarah!! I just bought a bunch of avacados today but they’re still a bit firm ( I soooo know what you mean about cutting into them and then finding that they’re not ripe…what a total annoyance! But your dip looks scrumptious and I’ll be trying it as soon as my avacados are nice and ripe. BTW….Great to see you on RFR!!
Hiya Dawn
Yes I need to go out and buy a load more avocados… will try my local greengrocer first but they can be a bit hit and miss with the quality too.. With the dip, which can just as easily be made by mashing it in a bowl with a fork, add some sea salt and tabasco to taste to it too. I got in a tiz and forgot to whiz it up together with the juice, doh! Thanks for that link to RFR – need to get in the habit of using it now, they seem like a great crowd though
